Wow; awesome tree, Lori! The DOF in this shot is most excellent. Maybe, just maybe, artists won't drive themselves crazy trying to extract this from the background! 
LOL The slightly blurred background makes it easier to see the edges of the tree. Cutting out trees is about as tedious as cutting out hair before the Refine Edge feature was added to Photoshop
